Useful Advice for How Much Water Do You Need
“In the US, popular advice is to drink eight, 8-ounce glasses of water –
about 2 litres – a day: the “8×8 rule”that originated from a recommendation by the
nutritionist Dr Fredrick J Stare in 1974 (he actually suggested 6 – 8 glasses).”
A number of teachings and myths are addressed in this article on hydration by Amy Fleming in The Guardian.

Must you drink before you are thirsty?
Do certain things you drink actually dehydrate you?
If you read through to the end of the article, you’ll find a very surprising yet rarely discussed answer to determine if you are drinking enough water daily or not!
I am not going to give away the answer, but keeping a journal where you track this suggestion is really helpful.

…Note: There are maintainers all over the world! I like to look up an article’s location and see places I have never seen before.
Today’s location is Stirling, Scotland home to Stuart Galloway, an associate professor in physiology, exercise and nutrition at the University of Stirling who is quoted in the article.
I have always wanted to visit Scotland, home to St. Andrews! Click Here to learn a little bit more about it. Enjoy! TK. (04/21/20 – 5).
